Editing Your Premade Logo Kit

Editing Your Premade Logo Kit #

Marlow Maison premade logo kits are designed to be ready to use with very little editing required. Each logo set has been carefully designed so that all pieces work together as a cohesive brand.

In most cases, you only need to replace the sample text with your own business name and details, and your branding will be ready to use.

Please note that some elements in certain designs may not be editable or movable. If an element cannot be changed, this will be explained in the companion PDF included with your purchase.

If you need something adjusted that cannot be edited within the template, you may purchase a Style Change Ticket or a Revision Ticket to have that modification made for you.

What Is Included in Your Logo Kit #

Your premade logo kit includes 9 coordinated logo designs. Each one is created to give you different ways to display your brand across platforms.

Your kit may include variations such as:

  • Main Logo – the primary version of your brand logo
  • Alternate Logo – a secondary version with a slightly different layout
  • Text-Based Logo – a clean text version of your brand name
  • Icon Logo – a simplified symbol or mark used for smaller spaces
  • Initial Logo – a monogram-style logo using your initials
  • Color Variations – alternate color versions of your logo

All logos are designed to match stylistically, so they can be used together across your brand materials.

Step 1: Open Your Canva Template #

Open the Canva template link included with your purchase.

When Canva loads, you will see multiple pages inside the template.

Each page contains one version of your logo design.

You can click through the pages on the left side of the screen to view each variation.

Step 2: Update Your Business Name #

Most logos will contain a text placeholder for your business name.

To edit it:

  1. Click the text.
  2. Type your business name.
  3. Adjust the size if needed so it fits neatly within the design.

Some logos may also include a smaller text area for a tagline or subtitle.

You can update this the same way.

Step 3: Adjust Colors (Optional) #

Some logos may allow you to change the colors to better match your brand.

To do this:

  1. Click the element you want to recolor.
  2. Click the color square in the toolbar.
  3. Choose a new color or paste your brand hex code.

Remember that Marlow Maison logos are designed to work beautifully with the provided color palette, so color changes are completely optional.

Step 4: Review Each Logo Variation #

Your kit includes several logo variations so your brand can adapt to different uses.

Take a moment to review each one.

For example:

Main Logo
Best used for your website, shop header, and major brand placements.

Alternate Logo
Great for social media graphics or marketing materials.

Icon or Initial Logo
Perfect for profile pictures, watermarks, or small spaces.

Each variation serves a slightly different purpose while maintaining a consistent brand style.

Step 5: Export Your Logos #

Once you are happy with your edits, you can export the logos.

To export:

  1. Click Share in the top right corner.
  2. Click Download.
  3. Choose your preferred file type.

Common export options include:

PNG – best for most digital uses
JPG – smaller file size for simple graphics
PDF – useful for printing

If you need a transparent background, be sure to select PNG with transparency (available in Canva Pro), or you can use the Photopea guide in this help center to create a transparent version for free.

How to Download Just One Logo #

If you only want to download one specific logo from your kit instead of the entire set, Canva makes this very easy.

Each logo in your kit is placed on its own page, so you can choose exactly which one to export.

To download a single logo:

  1. Click Share in the top right corner of the Canva editor.
  2. Click Download.
  3. Choose your preferred file type (such as PNG or JPG).
  4. Under Select Pages, click the dropdown menu.
  5. Select only the page that contains the logo you want to download.
  6. Click Download.

Canva will export only that page, giving you just the logo you selected.

When This Is Helpful #

Downloading individual logos can be useful when you want to:

  • upload a profile icon
  • place a single logo on your website
  • create a watermark
  • test different logo versions

Since each logo is on its own page, you can download them one at a time whenever you need them

A Helpful Beginner Tip #

You do not need to use all 9 logos at once.

Most brands use:

  • one main logo
  • one secondary logo
  • one icon or monogram

The additional variations are simply there to give you flexibility when designing different materials.

The Most Important Thing to Remember #

Your premade logo kit was designed so that you can quickly personalize your brand without needing to design anything from scratch.

Simply update your business name, make any optional adjustments, and your logos will be ready to use across your website, social media, and marketing materials.

Important Tip To Remember – You cannot “break” your design! #

If you ever feel like you’ve made too many changes or want to start over, simply click your original Canva template link again. Canva will create a brand new copy of the design so you can start fresh.
