Why Can’t I Change the Icon Color? #
The Problem #
You try to change the color of the icon but the color option does not appear.
Why This Happens #
Some icons are created in a way that prevents color editing inside Canva.
These icons may be:
- flattened graphics
- layered illustrations
- intentionally protected elements
How To Fix It #
Check your companion PDF to see if the icon is editable.
If the icon cannot be recolored in Canva, you can request the Icon Color Change Service available in the Services & Upgrades section.
Important Tip To Remember – You cannot “break” your design! #
If you ever feel like you’ve made too many changes or want to start over, simply click your original Canva template link again. Canva will create a brand new copy of the design so you can start fresh.
