Why Can’t I Download With a Transparent Background? #
The Problem #
You want a logo with a transparent background, but Canva won’t allow you to download it that way.
Why This Happens #
Downloading a PNG with transparency is a Canva Pro feature.
How To Fix It #
You have two options:
Option 1
Upgrade to Canva Pro and download using:
Share → Download → PNG → Transparent Background
Option 2
Use the Photopea tutorials in this help center, which show how to create transparent images for free.
Important Tip To Remember – You cannot “break” your design! #
If you ever feel like you’ve made too many changes or want to start over, simply click your original Canva template link again. Canva will create a brand new copy of the design so you can start fresh.
